The World Music Festival Bratislava proudly present Mojše Band (Moishe Band), trio that became a leading exponent of Central European Klezmer scene. Thanks to their rich interpretive skills and multi-genre musical background, they create a unique, progressive „neo-klezmer“ style based on Jewish traditions from former territories of Hungarian monarchy.

Since the founding of Moishe Band, its members have been invited to many festivals (Jewish Culture Festiwal Krakow, Mazal tov Košice, Samajim – Třebíč and many more). In 2017 Moishe Band won a prestigious prize at the International Jewish Music Festival in Amsterdam. 

The band have released 5 remarkable albums mostly dedicated to building a new connection with a traditional Jewish music heritage from specific regions of Slovakia. 

The video concert that you can enjoy reflects the former everyday life of Jewish communities in Slovakia, where music played an important role with songs full of sorrow and joy.
