The band Islanders was formed at the end of 2010 and has been actively participating in performance events such as Hohaiyan Rock Festival, Spring Scream, BeatieRock, Wake Up Festival, and more. They have also collaborated with numerous bands from Taiwan and Japan in domestic live houses.

Since the release of their debut EP 'About Freedom' in 2015, they have continued to perform and create music. In 2020, they added a cellist and officially became a five-member group. With folk music as their foundation, their songs incorporate the emotional ups and downs of post-rock, weaving rich melodic lines. Each song has distinct memorable moments, and their overall body of work is filled with storytelling, developing a unique style that sets Islanders apart.
